TERMS & CONDITIONS

To shop with us, you need to:

• be at least 16 years old;

• have a credit or debit card that we accept (see bottom of page for details of current payment providers); and

• be authorised to use that credit or debit card (e.g. it is in your name or you have permission to use it).

Just FYI, some of the goods sold through our Websites may not be suitable for under 18s. 

Our Privacy Policy sets out how we’ll use your information. If your details change, remember that you need to update My Account so we can continue giving you our best service (you can also update your marketing preferences there).

 

PLACING AN ORDER / PRICING

All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. If there’s an issue with an order, we’ll get in touch with you.

From time to time, we may price an item or order wrongly. If we discover an error for any goods you’ve ordered, we will tell you ASAP and give you the option of reconfirming your order (at the correct price) or cancelling it.

If we can’t get in touch with you, we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you’ve already paid, we will refund you in full.

All prices are quoted in GB Pound Sterling and include VAT (where applicable) at the applicable current rate chargeable in the UK for the time being. However, if the rate of VAT changes between the date of your order and the date of delivery, we will adjust the VAT you pay, unless you have already paid for the products in full before the change in VAT takes effect.

Any discount codes issued are strictly subject to the individual terms and conditions with which they were issued, which may include, amongst other things, eligibility of use and maximum order value. If any of the terms and conditions with which the discount codes were issued contradicts these terms and conditions, the terms and conditions in respect of the discount code will prevail.

We reserve the right to reject or cancel any orders which do not comply with these terms even if your credit or debit card has been charged (and will refund in full any amounts paid by you in respect of the order).


DELIVERY

Before you finalise your order, you’ll be given various delivery options to choose from with estimated delivery time and dates depending on the delivery address. We try to meet all delivery times but sometimes there may be delays – e.g. because of postal/carrier delays, logistics or bad weather. If delays are caused by carrier or any other third party, The Gypsy Shrine Ltd will not be liable for any such delay. If there is a delay of over 30 days, you will be entitled to receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received.

We deliver to the all countries listed on the Website, subject to our absolute discretion, (“International Delivery Destinations”). If you order goods from the Website for delivery to one of the International Delivery Destinations, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes which are applied when the delivery reaches that destination. Please note that we have no control over these charges and we cannot predict their amount.You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the Products are destined. We will not be liable or responsible if you break any such law.

If you enter an incorrect address when you place an order with us, please get in touch with us ASAP at support@weareshrine.com to amend. If your order has already shipped, The Gypsy Shrine Ltd will not be responsible for refunding any items and it is the sole responsibility of the customer to locate the package once The Gypsy Shrine Ltd have provided them with the carrier of the shipment.

Next-Day and Express delivery are subject to placing your order before specific cut-off times. Details of cut-off times will be available at checkout.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

You have 28 days to return an item from when it’s delivered for a full refund (we strongly recommend that you get proof of postage). No refund will be issued for any returns received after this 28 day period.

Some items can’t be returned e.g. earrings, items where a hygiene strip or seal has been removed (like swim wear and underwear). They also include goods with a seal for health protection and hygiene reasons that's been broken. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights.

The customer must cover the cost of returning unwanted goods.

The Customer must follow the returns policy, by emailing The Gypsy Shrine (support@weareshrine.com) to notify their intention to return any goods.

Within 14 days after receipt of the goods, the Customer must contact The Gypsy Shrine in writing via the contact details above and, following which, they must be returned to us within 14 days. The goods must be ‘as new’ and unused, in original undamaged packaging, including all items and free gifts received. It is the Customer’s responsibility to take reasonable care of the products until their return to The Gypsy Shrine. The Gypsy Shrine will consider that the Customer has not taken reasonable care if the goods have been used in a way or extent, exceeding what a customer would similarly examine the goods in a retail shop prior to purchase and will be entitled to deduct an amount reflecting any such reduction in value due to your use. Any refund will be made within 14 days of receipt of the Customer’s returned products.

In cases where the rejection of the goods is due to a defect or discrepancy in the order, the Customer is entitled to a full refund within 14 days of the date of delivery of the products. The Customer must notify The Gypsy Shrine within 14 days of delivery and return the product to The Gypsy Shrine before the refund can be issued.

We will examine the returned product and will notify you of and process your refund within a reasonable period of time and, in any case, within 14 days of the day we confirm to you that you were entitled to a refund for the defective product. Products returned by you because of a defect will be refunded in full, including a refund of the delivery charges for sending the item to you and the cost incurred by you in returning the item to us.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, CONTENT & SOFTWARE

The Gypsy Shrine Ltd. owns or has permission to use the intellectual property rights in its Website and its content. These rights are protected around the world. All such rights are reserved.

You’re allowed to store, print and display our Website content only for your own personal use. You are not allowed to use any part of the Website for commercial purposes unless you have our express permission.

You’re also not allowed to use the The Gypsy Shrine logo or any The Gypsy Shrine Ltd brand or trade mark (or any marks which are colourably similar) without our express permission.

It’s fine for you to link to thegypsyshrine.com, as long as you do so in a way that is not-commercial, is fair and legal, and doesn’t damage or take advantage of our reputation.

Please don’t link in a way that suggests any form of approval or endorsement by The Gypsy Shrine Ltd. where none exists.

Our Website must not be framed on any other site without our permission.
